İbrahim Özaydın Vocational and Technical High School is located in Arnavutköy district of Istanbul. It is a project school which is renowned for its success to have been conducting many projects in academical, technical, cultural, sports and robotics area.

As an instution providing vocational and technical education, we are doing our best in order to ensure that our students get qualified not only as an intermediate staff but as in-demand professionals. While we are defining  the criteria for the qualities we aim to instill in our students, we are establishing the processes for planning, implementing and evaluating these criteria. With a team of professional teachers, we are striving for granting our students with an academical, mental and psychologically successful.

Our school offers two separate Education and Training programmes as Technical Curricula Programme and Vocational Curricula Programme. There are three prepratory classes for the fields of Information Technologies, Electrical and Electronics Technologies and Chemistry Technology. Their schedules consist of 24 hours of English Language Teaching in which students practice the language in an interactive environment. The curricula consist of 16 structural English and 8 lessons for basic skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking. Additionally, through our Academic Support Program and Supplementary Courses, we guide students in preparing for collegues, facilitating their placement in engineering faculties.

We create a 'homogeneous school environment' climate to foster the healthy development of our students in the fields of Information Technologies, Electrical and Electronic Technologies, Chemistry Technology, Graphics and Photography, Accounting and Finance, Office Management and Executive Assistance.

By establishing protocols with different and qualified companies, we assist our students in taking significant steps in career planning for internships and post-graduation employment.

We have been carrying out various Erasmus+ projects for years as a school with Erasmus + Accrediation between 2021-2027. With the frame of Erasmus + accrediation, not just our students attend internships abroad but our teachers take part in job shadowing projects in different European countries, as well. Each year, at least 34 students for short term or long term internships, 40 students for group mobilities, 4 students for participation in vet skills competitions and 10 teachers join job shadowing mobilities or as accompanying teachers in those mobilities and experience different countries. Due to the accrediation, totally 4 of our students from IT and EET departments, completed their mobility in Silicon Valley, California, USA.  These activities provide our students and teachers with the opportunity to experience and compare curricula and teaching programs, allowing students who have experienced the Erasmus+ program to pursue. Except for Vocational Education Erasmus+ accrediation, we also applied for the partnerships for KA152, KA210, KA122 and KA220 project opportunities.

The achievements of our robot teams in various tournaments and their outstanding performances have always been a source of pride. In the 2022-2023 and also 2023-2024 academic season, one of our robotics team IOROBOT for VEX Robotics Competitions, received the Excellence Award and the champion of Turkiye National Tournament, represent our country at the 2023 World Championship and 2024 World Championship, held in Dallas, USA. Our team came back to Turkiye with Sportsmanship Award in 2023 Worlds and also Energy Award in 2024 Worlds.

In the International Robot Competition of Turkish Ministry of National Education held for the 15th time in the 2022-2023 season, our other robot team IOROBOT MEB ranked 1st and 3rd in the themed category for high school level.

IOROBOT 7086 represent our school in FRC for 6 years in the regionals of Turkiye.

One of our remarkable student club is Enterpreneur Club: IoGirişim. Our students got the second place in TOBB Projektör Competition and has the opportunity of sponsorships of both national and international companies in Turkiye.

We were so proud for the individual and team achievements of our students in sports activities, supporting the education of our national athletes for the university placement in sports faculties.

İbrahim Özaydın Ergin Scout Troop  has earned praise for the activities they are  doing regardless of seasonal conditions. They have contributed significantly to the continuation of the Scouting culture with the events they organize, as well.

Following the path laid out by the headteacher of nation Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who said, "The one who loves his country the most is the one who performs his duty the best," we will continue to educate students who serve their homeland, progress in the path of knowledge, science, and wisdom, and are moral, productive, and well-equipped.
